On June 30, 2022, Mya Moore (23) was sentenced by the Honorable Judge John J. Mead to 4-10 years of incarceration followed by a year of probation. Moore pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter (F1) on April 18, 2022 for stabbing her brother, Marcus Moore, in the neck, leading to his death. The case was prosecuted by First ADA Jessica Reger and ADA Emily Downing.
