Danny Ruiz (18) was sentenced on July 20, 2022, for his involvement in an attack on two young women in September of 2021 by the Honorable John J. Mead. The Commonwealth sought, and the Judge imposed, the mandatory minimum 10 - 20 years of incarceration, based on the fact that this was Ruiz's second violent offense. He was previously convicted of felony robbery in 2019.
