On Thursday, April 13, 2023, a jury of Erie County citizens found Joseph Gregory, 27, guilty of Escape, Aggravated Assault Against Law Enforcement, and other related offenses for injuring Officer Lucas DeHart while fleeing from Erie Police Department officers in July 2022.  Gregory's sentencing is set for June 27, 2023 before the Honorable Judge John J. Mead.  First Assistant District Attorney Jessica Reger prosecuted the case on behalf of the Commonwealth.
