Recently, six new officers have been sworn in to serve in local police departments in Erie. Erie Police has added three officers to the 186 who currently serve-- James M. Pettinato, Hailey Connors, and Thomas Twohigtwo. Additionally, two local police departments have sworn in the first females to serve as patrol officers in their respective departments. Officer Holly Hess will be serving in the Girard Police Department and Officer Alyssa Turner, who was sworn in along with Officer Jonathan Harvey, will be serving in the Corry Police Department.
