On October 5, 2022, Officer Max Brozell, Officer Dave Smith, Officer Mike Attalla, and Corporal Shawn McGill were presented with a 2022 Appreciation Award for their contributions to the Inner City Youth Spoon's Summer Basketball League. Officer Max Brozell was also awarded the "Jason Belton Distinguished Service in Community Policing Award" by Councilman Mel Witherspoon and Chief Daniel Spizarny.
