Award for Community Service
Detective Sergeant Craig Stoker, center, was honored by the Erie Police Dept., on Feb. 2, 2023, after receiving the annual John Radko Award for community service by law enforcement officers, presented by the Billy Simpson VFW Post 470 in Erie. With this achievement, Detective Sergeant Craig Stoker is now in the running for a statewide award.
At the presentation, held at the Bagnoni Council Chambers at Erie City Hall are, from left: Erie Police Capt. Tony Talarico; Deputy Chief Bill Marucci; Post 470 Quartermaster and District 28 Chaplain Chris Crawford; Post 470 Commander Bob Depew; Det. Sgt. Craig Stoker; Chief Daniel Spizarny; Deputy Chief Rick Lorah; and Deputy Chief Chris Janus.
Detective Sergeant Craig Stoker has over 23 years of service to the Erie Police Department, including 18 years as a SWAT team operator. Sgt. Stoker's dedication to the Erie Police Department and his never-give-up attitude make him an invaluable resource to the City, the Police Department and to the citizens of Erie.
