In October 2022, a jury found Orguna Sanders (52) guilty of all eight charges including attempted homicide and related charges for a shooting in the area of West 2nd Street in Erie in March 2021.  On January 24th 2023, the Honorable John J. Mead sentenced Sanders to 20-40 years of incarceration for those crimes.  Assistant District Attorney Nicholas Maskrey prosecuted the case on behalf of the Commonwealth.
